Meet our 2024-2025 Board
Elizabeth - President
Elizabeth Houser is the Director of Cyber Defense for DefenseStorm, leading a team of cybersecurity experts protecting financial institutions from cybercriminals. Prior to joining DefenseStorm, Elizabeth was selected for an internship at King County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) Major Crimes Unit while completing her degree in Information Security and Digital Forensics. Elizabeth was awarded the KCSO Volunteer of the Year for her service and graduated from Edmonds College shortly before her husband passed away from a service-connected condition. Elizabeth joined the Gold Star Wives of America, Inc. in 2017, and was elected to a board position in 2018. Currently she serves as president on the CIS Advisory Committee for Edmonds College. In addition to multiple industry certifications, Elizabeth holds a MLIS degree from the University of Washington and an MS in Entomology from the University of Tennessee.

Heather J. - Vice President
Heather is originally from Upstate, NY. She met her husband, Bryan, in Virginia Beach. Together they have two wonderful boys. Heather works for an Marketing company specializing in the Mortgage industry. Heather and her family enjoy spending time outdoors, ready, and finding ways to give back. Heather is excited to help plan some events this year!

Ariana - Treasurer
Ariana grew up in Texas and graduated from UT Austin in 2019 with a degree in Public Health and Bioinformatics. She worked
in various administrative positions at UT before marrying her husband, Jack, in 2021 in Pensacola, FL. She now loves exploring
the Pacific Northwest, getting to know her new Growler community, and learning from her more experienced Navy wives.
Ariana looks forward to starting a family soon and serving on the OSCWI board this upcoming year!

Kamryn J. - Communications
Kamryn grew up in a Navy family, spending her childhood in multiple duty stations across the US. In 2022, she
graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BFA in Emerging Media, where she specialized in
Animation and Graphic Design. After following her family to their new duty station, she met her boyfriend
Liam here at NAS Whidbey Island in 2023. Now, as a Navy girlfriend, she’s diving headfirst into the Spouse
groups and organizations she grew up around, doing her part to make them a key resource for her fellow
military families.

Cleo P. - Philanthropy 
Cleo grew up in Miami, Florida and graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, with a minor in Criminal Justice. After college, she moved to Dallas, Texas, and that is where is she met her husband. They married in 2010, and later on all the fun Navy adventures have begun. They have been stationed in Pensacola, Florida, and currently at NASWI since 2016. She has been teaching for Oak Harbor Public Schools since 2016, and graduated with her Master’s Degree in Curriculum Design & Instruction. She and her husband have two children, and a mini bernedoodle named Louis. Cleo is looking forward to giving back to the community as Philanthropy coordinator and being a bridge between the OSCWI chapter and the local community.

Eileen E. - Membership
Eileen grew up in Miami, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida (go gators!) with her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise and Sport Sciences. She went on to receive her Master’s degree at the University of West Florida. That is also where she met her future husband. They married in 2011. They have been stationed twice in Japan (Iwakuni and Okinawa), twice in Pensacola and twice (and currently in Oak Harbor). They are the parents to two amazing, creative daughters named Alice and Jane. Eileen currently volunteers at her daugters’ school, NMCRS Thrift Shop, and anywhere else that needs a helping hand. Eileen enjoys reading, traveling and hanging at the beach. She looks forward to connecting with fellow officer spouses and helping out in the community as she serves on the board this year.

VACANT, Parliamentarian
The Parliamentarian is the custodian and official interpreter of OSCWI Constitution and Bylaws. Serves as a non-voting member of the Executive Board.-
Shall advise the Executive Board and the General Membership on all points of order and proper procedures in accordance with the Constitution of OSCWI as well as the latest revised edition of the Robert’s Rules of Order.

Is ineligible from making a motion.

Is the OSCWI liaison with the legal office

Will compile nominees for the annual election of officers.

Will oversee all voting at meetings.

Will oversee, per incident and with permission of the President, all General Membership, Executive Board, voting done by telephone, proxy or electronic communication.

Forms a Constitution Review committee to revise the OSCWI Constitution every 2 years.

Monitor and maintain appropriate email account associated with the position.
