It’s that time of year, and to celebrate, we’re bringing back the OSCWI Holiday Bazaar! The bazaar will be open to all hands and the wider Whidbey Island community. It will provide an opportunity for military spouses to network and families to enjoy an afternoon out. The event features:

• Spouse home business exhibit hall – All Hands
• Holiday wreathes handmade by spouses and available for purchase
• A children’s clothing closet

Join OSCWI on Friday, November 9, 3-6 p.m., at the Officers’ Club to make holiday wreaths over drinks. We will sell these wreaths at our upcoming holiday bazaar, and proceeds will go towards OSCWI’s scholarship and grant programs. Please remember to bring your own wreath materials, and join us for a fun afternoon of crafting. You may also make a wreath at home and drop it off if you prefer. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Our next First Friday gathering at M.T. McCormick’s Officers’ Club’s happy hour will be Friday, November 2, 3-6 p.m.

The purpose of OSCWI First Fridays is to give OSCWI members, prospective members, and their families an opportunity to meet each other on a more regular basis. Every first Friday of the month, OSCWI invites members and non- (but hopefully prospective!) members to mingle during the Officers’ Club’s happy hour, which runs weekly on Fridays, 3-6 PM.

Join us for a drink, meet some fellow spouses, and perhaps even turn it into a date night with your special service member!

This is a safe and FREE way to treat your kids to a fun Halloween. Squadrons each set up a table with games or treats. Light appetizers will be provided.

OSCWI board, members, and soon-to-be members met up for a casual meet-and-greet on October 2, 2018, at Bastion Brewing Company in Anacortes, WA. Thanks to everyone who came to our first event of the year! We are so excited for the new year and our new members.

Welcome to the 2018-2019 Officers’ Spouses’ Club of Whidbey Island. We are so excited for this upcoming year. For the last 45 years the OSCWI has been here to support the spouses who support our military. Our mission is to strengthen our community through social bonds and philanthropic outreach.

When you join, you get so much more than a membership to a social organization. You will have the opportunity to reach out, build long-lasting friendships, and also be involved in paying it forward in our community.

We know that strong military spouses build strong, supportive communities. We sincerely hope that you will join us this year in our mission.
